Arlington, VA – September 15, 2008 - PRO-telligent, LLC welcomes Morris E. "Bud" Jacobs as the company's new Senior Director for New Initiatives. With over 30 years' experience in national security and foreign policy issues, Mr. Jacobs is a highly-regarded problem solver and leader known for applying creative solutions to challenging problems.

Prior to joining PRO-telligent, Mr. Jacobs was a senior advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs on Western Hemisphere issues, and he also served as the Department's liaison to the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Before returning to State in 2005, Mr. Jacobs was for several years the Vice President of the National Council for Eurasian and East European Research, a Washington-based funder of research in the social sciences and the humanities for the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research and other clients.

Mr. Jacobs served as a Senior Foreign Service Officer at the Department of State and U.S. Information Agency for more than 25 years, with postings in Russia, the Balkans, Central and South America, and Washington. In the Foreign Service, Mr. Jacobs focused on political-military issues, as well as public affairs and public diplomacy.

Mr. Jacobs is a key hire for PRO-telligent for he brings a diverse customer base, proven leadership, and knowledge and experience in Department of State affairs.
